Overview:
The Production Team Member is responsible for working on a production floor assembling parts by hand, using tools machines, and different variation modules.
Responsibilities:
(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
Maintain a high level of quality for the products produced
Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances
Effectively use hand tools and/or air tools
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
Pack and store materials and products
Visually inspect the quality of in-coming production line materials, eliminate defects
Meet daily production goals through teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives
Perform all assembly-related tasks and assignments in a safe and timely manner
Ensure equipment and workstations are cleaned daily
Support and communicate with Team Leaders and Supervisor on a daily basis
Maintain housekeeping & 5S environment
Follow Mobis guidelines (according to handbook) and other policies established by department
Read and/or enter data through computer
Promote a team atmosphere
Assist with creation and completion of improvement and/or cost reduction ideas
Complete check sheets, reports, forms, etc. as assigned & with accuracy
Comply with all safety rules and guidance, as well as report all recognized hazards
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Basic reading and computer skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to detect quality defects
Ability to learn new tasks quickly and follow detailed work instructions
Ability to be a team player in a team working environment
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work extended hours and overtime as needed on short notice
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None Required
Working Conditions:
Production/assembly environment
Traversing around production floor
Standing for long periods of time
Repetitive motions (twisting and bending)
Lifting (between 25-50 lbs.)
Work may take place on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
