Fort Plain Animal Hospital in Fort Plain, NY, is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full-service animal hospital. Here, we are dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures.
We know you know what a successful veterinary technician looks like, but so we are all on the same page, applicants should be ready to contribute with:
Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
Competency in emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and anesthesia monitoring
Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A caring and compassionate attitude.
Our Veterinary Technicians are integral in providing excellent medical care and customer service to our clients, and we are not shy about showing appreciation. We enjoy an excellent clinic culture and awesome benefits, including:
