Overview:
It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Office Manager is to supervise the Maintenance Dispatchers and the daily operation of the Maintenance Office. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
Responsibilities:
Input purchase requisitions for Maintenance parts and services.
Handle all incoming and outgoing mail.
Work with Landry’s Development personnel, Designers and various other employees for construction projects, maintain spec books.
Take photos, email and catalog when needed.
Create PANS for new hires and other PANS as needed for our department.
Work with Chief Engineer and any other supervisor in the hiring process. Initiate employee requisitions through the final steps of this process.
Supervise Dispatchers.
Supervise the timekeeping process for Maintenance Employees. This includes input of daily time sheets, overtime report, and Labor Allocation reports that are sent to General Ledger and a copy kept for our files.
Answer phone calls for Vice President and other issues relating to the Maintenance Office or Maintenance Department and either handle the problem or give to proper person.
Greet visitors that come into our office and help them as needed.
Prepare and record vacations, and PTO’s. Make sure all vacations and PTO’s are processed correctly and entered into Kronos.
Type and process Leaves of Absences, Counseling Notices, and any forms used for operation of department.
Relieve dispatchers for vacation and absences that include answering phones, logging calls on log sheets and SharePoint and dispatch to the proper person by radio.
Process work requests issued by other departments.
Record attendance points and keep track of Attendance violations and type discipline as needed.
Order office supplies, uniforms for employees and disburse.
Handle all paycheck problems and work with Payroll to correct the problem.
Distribute any parts and compile paperwork.
Update bulletin boards.
Work with other departments on special projects as needed, coordinate with all trades on special projects.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications:
Ability to manage employees, training and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teams
Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate
Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
