Responsibilities:

Handling and preparation of raw fish in the appropriate manner

Prepares Sushi Rice in perfect form and consistency

Ensures adherence to highest quality of food preparation and hygiene standards

Manages the storage of fruits and vegetables, and meats such as Crab, Eel, Salmon and Tuna

Restocking of ingredients and monitoring inventory of supplies

Qualifications:

Have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients and equipment 

Execute assigned tasks with precision and speed

Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high pressure environment

Have a minimum of 2 years of culinary experience

Have effective communication and time management skills

Have knowledge of food safety requirements for restaurants

Are able to stand for extended hours

We will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with Criminal Histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance
