The Procurement Analyst will assist with vendor management, with a focus on finding the best suppliers to support our business needs.  Evaluate and analyze potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and prepare monthly supply cost reports. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine where we can improve, re-negotiating contracts with existing suppliers or negotiating contracts with new suppliers. This role is essential to the efficiency and success of our organization.

A Day In The Life Of :

Liaise with suppliers to provide necessary documentation and reporting.Select vendors/suppliers based on the cost and quality of their materials.

Conduct routine cost-benefit analysis and contribute to continual process improvement.

Identify and resolve any and all issues related to product quality, pricing, delivery, and loss.

Respond to vendor related questions or issues for efficient/effective resolution.

Monitor and manage vendor data and reports.

Analyze vendor data to identify potential efficiencies and improvement opportunities.

Maintain dashboards for respective area.

Evaluate repetitive service requests to identify repetitious root causes and implement appropriate preventive actions.

Assure accurate and timely equipment diagnosis and garner secondary input when a clear diagnosis is not reached.

Assist in the evaluation of repair versus replacement considerations based on cost benefit, ROI and ongoing reliability.

Provide logistical support for needed PPE and other supplies that could need to be moved from office to office based on supply and demand realities.

Ensure quality control standards are consistently met.

Coordinate the purchase and installation of replacement equipment.

Manage account setup and maintenance with suppliers.

Working with the Procurement team and Business Intelligence to optimize use of reporting.

Managing time and working with other functional areas to streamline and improve processes.

What You'll Bring To The Table :

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to move and install PC equipment on a basic level

Strong customer service orientation

Exceptional interpersonal skills; listening skills are essential while remaining open to other ideas and trying new things.

Conducts self with professionalism and in a tactful manner, treating others with respect and consideration.

Follow through on commitments.

Professional attitude and appearance

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

Ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner; gathering and analyzing information skillfully, developing alternate solutions.

We’d Love It If You Also Have

2+ years similar experience in a purchasing setting. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Proven work experience in business. Experience in working in a dental or healthcare related organization is a plus.
