Overview:

The AVP will be responsible for overseeing and managing the expenses by analyzing and reviewing financial data, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and implementing cost saving initiatives. Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating and organizing business travel arrangements for employees, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation. This role also involves handling various accounting and finance related tasks, such as processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Responsibilities:

Expense Management

Within the Centralized Management Department, this role oversees professional accounting and budgeting control for the department's $45 million budget. Responsibilities include crafting the initial spending plan, meticulously monitoring daily payment requests, and analyzing spending trends to ensure expenditures stay within allocated amounts. This is achieved through proactive database management to track resource utilization. In essence, this role acts as the financial guardian of the department, safeguarding its resources and ensuring efficient use of funds.

Accounting and Finance Related Tasks

This position offers a comprehensive professional accounting and budgeting control experience. Responsibilities include managing various reports to Financial Management Department and Head Office, such as the ESG survey. Additionally, the role involves handling financial inquiries and assisting the Department Head with relevant matters, including monitoring Financial Performance.

Business Travel Management

This position provides comprehensive travel management for employee business trips. Responsibilities include reviewing travel requests, securing flight and accommodation bookings, and meticulously recording all associated expenses to ensure accurate financial tracking and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

Minimum 4 years of Expense Management experience required

Minimum 4 years of Accounting or Financial Management experience required

Minimum 3 years of Business Travel Management experience required

CPA preferred

Bilingual abilities in English and Mandarin are required

Demonstrate knowledge in Financial Analysis, Data Analysis and Computer knowledge. 

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
