Overview:

Job Purpose

The New York Stock Exchange has an Opening for a Carpenter. This is a full-time position that will Report to the Chief Carpenter.

Successful applicant needs to be motivated, have good communication skills with a  strong work ethic be a  self-starter and physically capable to carry out their duties.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of all locks and door hardware throughout the facility.

Fabrication and installation of new millwork on the trading Floor. Replacing and finishing sections of the flooring on the Trading Floor.                                                                                                                                                                         

Work alongside the listings, Events and Printing Departments in the preparation of the Trading Floor, Boardroom and all necessary rooms for upcoming Events this will involve the installation of Post Wraps, Floor stickers and first Trade Bells.

Knowledge and Experience

4-year apprenticeship in Carpentry/Cabinet making

experienced with all types of locks and hardware.

Computer literacy required

Experienced with all stationary shop equipment and hand tools including table saws, Jointer, shaper, sander and Radial arm.

Schedule

This role is on-site in our New York Wall Street Office.

New York Base Salary Range 

  

The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 75,616 - 95,877 USD.  The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.  While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
