As a Structural CAD Designer, your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Coordinating with and assisting a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare project designs and drawings for steel bridges; pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges; cast-in-place flat slabs; and miscellaneous structures
Use standard drafting/design principles and theories to prepare project drawings quickly, accurately, and in accordance with all specifications outlined in internal and external CADD manuals
Work from project specifications, sketches, computer models, and verbal information to determine the most appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete drawings quickly and accurately
Coordinate with other technicians, designers, and engineers to complete details and ensure a cohesive design
Effectively present proposed team design solutions as part of internal project meetings
Stay up to date with industry CADD standards and best practices
Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns
Ensure timely completion of time sheets, expense reports, and labor hours management
Take ownership of personal and team member career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goals
Contribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors

Years of Experience: 10+ years in a design role
