The role

Our client, a world-renowned company, is currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Assistant Finance Transformation Manager to join their team to assist the Global Process Owner - Budget & Forecasting with global systems implementations across a number of international markets. The role will closely assist creating, developing and overseeing solutions relating to budgets and forecasts, and supports important roll outs which will include regularly presenting to senior level colleagues.

Key responsibilities

The role will provide important assistance and offer support to the following tasks:

* Take control of the design and implementation of budget and forecasting processes company-wide, in line with the company's financial targets

* Ensuring that each process within your remit is in line with the overall company policies, or seeking approval where the policies don't yet exist

* Build key relationships both internally and externally, across all seniority levels, to enable collaboration and confidence in the processes and solutions being proposed

* Verifying that the processes and solutions meet business requirements at all times, or agreeing to amendments where required

* Identify and resolve any issues related to changes to processes or solutions, while also managing these accordingly

* Work closely with colleagues in the relevant teams during project roll-outs, including presenting details to groups of people and taking the lead on any training needed to support implementation (both during and post roll-out)

* Identify areas of improvement to avoid inefficiency and non-value-added activities, and resolve these via process or system change

* Manage and oversee any global enhancement processes and prioritise tasks as necessary

* Coordinate and prepare reports which outline the reasoning behind new global processes and standards

* Offer important budget and forecasting support to the relevant Business Units within the company

The ideal candidate

* Experience in both an operational budget and forecasting role and an IT/technology related role

* Experience of delivering a Hyperion-based project on an international scale

* Good knowledge of the functional capabilities of the product

* Demonstrable record of designing and implementing process improvement within a large organisation

* Strong analytical, decision-making and organisational skills when delivering multiple projects within tight deadlines

* Enthusiastic, self-motivated and high levels of energy

* Strong leadership skills with confidence to implement change across the business

* Ability and drive to meet expectations from both internally and externally

* Confidence to communicate effectively with individuals of all seniority levels, across a range of topics

* Excellent proficiency in MS Office

* Solid knowledge of Hyperion Planning and Oracle EBS v12

* Excellent English, oral and written

* Other languages desirable given the international nature of the role

* Openness to travel internationally as required, to assist with global implementations
