Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the House Supervisor is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice, hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance Improvement efforts, while providing support to the nursing staff on all units. The House Supervisor may work a shift on a specific unit when all other efforts in filling the shift with other personnel has been exhausted. This position will contribute to department meetings, quality initiatives and maintain services within TJC requirements.

Qualifications:

Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the hospital resides. Current BLS and ACLS certification is required. Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.

Experience: Two + years of behavioral health experience with 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
