Job Description:
Dewberry is currently looking for a Survey Crew Chief to perform a variety of tasks associated with land surveying and civil engineering in our Charlotte, NC office.

Responsibilities:
Field work associated with land surveying.
Perform Boundary, Topographic, Tree & Channel Surveys.
Assisting with survey computations and data collection as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Required Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of survey experience
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Surveying is preferred
Able to operate Topcon Total Stations, Lieca GPS, static, RTK, RTN
Familiarity with NCDOT Electronic Field Book (EFB) data collection
Ability to shoot Topography
Ability to work remotely under rigorous conditions
Familiarity with construction plans and RW maps
Certified Survey Technician, Level II or III (CST) or ability to obtain within specified timeframe
Utility designating experience a plus
Excellent communication skills
Must be reliable
Additional Requirements:
Have the ability to work out of town, flexible with work area
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains.
Ability to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces.
