Responsibilities include: 

This position works directly with and addresses the needs of the Bartender, to insure complete guest satisfaction while maintaining a clean, organized and well-stocked bar. 

Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.

Responsible for maintaining assigned area and backing up the bartender to assure guest service.

Maintains a well-stocked and fully prepared bar and stocking functions for the dry goods and liquor rooms

Maintains the cleanliness and organization of assigned area.

Performs routine cleaning and day-to-day maintenance of all bar equipment.

Requires a working knowledge of various cleaning supplies and chemicals, including safe handling, storage, and usage requirements.

Become knowledgeable of all drink recipes and proper glass to use for each drink.

Always conduct yourself in a manner that reflects a positive, professional image for Ameristar Casino Black Hawk.

Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so.

Keep bar completely stocked for next shift.

Must learn to act without supervisor but informing the bartender on duty of any problems.

Become knowledgeable of the operation of the cash and comp procedures; blenders, strainers, coffee makers, glass washers and coolers..

Have and keep updated all current work cards: TIPS Training.

Responsible for learning the operation of liquor, soda and juice guns.

Customer service skills.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Able to lift fifty (50) pounds.

Experience in bar environment preferred
