Responsabilidades / Responsibilities:

Job Purpose

The LAN FP&A Manager has the dual responsibility for providing leadership and directing the financial activities for the Original Equipment (OE) Business in the region BS-LAN (Mexico, Costa Rica & Colombia) plus the ownership and overall coordination and leadership of execution of the BS-LAN FP&A Process including direct support to the Regional President and the Functional Regional Directors. This leader must have the ability to:

Inspire, challenge and influence the organization in all aspects of Bridgestone businesses.

Develop talent to lead a high performing, highly motivated finance team.

Build strong collaborative relationships across the region, partnering with the OE Business Team in BS-LAN and the Country Finance teams to deliver sustainable business results in the OE Business and the execution with excellence of the BS-LAN FP&A Processes.

Responsibilities

Deliver results through the ownership of business objectives and financial plans (P&L and working capital accounts in scope)

Partner with the LAN, LA and Corporate OE Management team to provide expert recommendations based on sound evaluation and analysis on all relevant projects and decisions. This includes identifying business opportunities, anticipating risks and recommending solutions

Lead and organize the annual, quarterly, and monthly budgeting processes for LAN. This includes the matrix leadership of FP&A planning activities in country and the continuous assessment and improvement of the budgeting process both in terms of efficiency (time and resources) and accuracy and financial leadership of the IBP process.

Lead, coach and develop a high-performance finance team.

Develop a solid end to end understanding of the OE business with the goal of providing sound financial stewardship of the OE commercial operations in the region.

Evaluate and advise on the impact of external business conditions and assessment of financial implications in long range planning, competitor strategies/actions, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.

Direct and act as local point of contact for Corporate Financial functions to ensure the correct communication of corporate FP&A guidelines, assumptions, and requests to LAN, as well as ensure the high-quality delivery of FP&A work.

Complete the monthly LAN consolidated management reporting and FP&A deliverables.

Requisitos / Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience Required

MBA preferred, undergrad un business, economy, engineering.

Spanish/English must (advanced level).

Strong leadership competencies with a focus on developing others and modelling positive behaviors.

Proven track record of strategic thinking and progressive professional advancement.

Strong influencing and project management skills.

Business and Financial acumen, good full financial statement knowledge, and good knowledge of standard financial tools (SAP, BI, Excel, etc).
