Diversicare is searching for a dedicated Business Office Support Manager to manage credit moves, write-offs, Private rates, and all Medicare bad debt entries. This position will also be responsible for managing and training on the asset search portal.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge and understanding of all payer sources and collection policies.

Manage and key all Medicare Bad Debt Monthly

Manage and enter all identified write-offs

Clean up and work private accounts over 210+ bucket at all centers.

Manages and leads special projects assigned by VP.

Remotely supports and covers for RBOCs or BOMs during vacancies as assigned by VP.

Utilize Medicaid knowledge to assist in improving processes in Asset Search process and reporting.

Manages and corrects all credits on aging

Responsible for managing the refund portal and ensuring refunds are posted timely.

Responsible for ensuring VOIDS are communicated timely to Cash Reconciliation Team.

Responsible for Therapy, Pharmacy, and all ancillary imports and posting.

Manages the Private Rate changes and ensures letters are delivered timely.

Manages the monthly statement process.

Monitors the bad reports and communicates with the RBOC and VP on changes and concerns.

Manages and directs Travel Business Office Manager

Manages and directs Asset Search specialist

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related area preferred

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in LTC field

Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Pay in LTC and how collections are managed.

General accounts receivable and PCC knowledge required
