Overview:
Directs and coordinates activities of contracted services, performs miscellaneous painting and building maintenance repairs; and performs company and postal mail services for the General Offices by performing the following duties personally.
Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises, coordinates, provides leadership to, and reviews the work of contracted services.
Evaluates and recommends changes in methods and procedures in assigned area of responsibility.
Operates postal mail machine.
Orders postal supplies and building repair materials.
Ensures safety specifications are followed by contracted services.
Operates various power tools (must make professional cuts and finishes).
Builds and repairs partitions, floors, doors, frame-work and trim.
Performs painting task, lock maintenance (including electronic door latches).
Installs glass in windows, doors and partitions.
Replaces damaged ceiling tile, floor tile, and wall coverings.
Installs items such as venetian blinds and door locks.
Installs basic electrical wiring of equipment operating on single phase energy at less than 120 volts.
Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises contracted services. Responsibilities include appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school education or degree from technical school, or its equivalent; three years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret common technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquires, complaints or questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems and take appropriate corrective actions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. Work hours may vary.
The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places.
Will need to travel from Fort Pierce to Miami facilities. Travel is a must in this position.
