Description:

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pipe Welders for projects located in Columbia, SC. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to $25/hr based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Prep pipe fittings and pipe ends for full penetration welds on pipe assemblies

Read and interpret drawings engineering sketches and blueprints

GTA weld on carbon steel stainless steel and duplex stainless steel

Calculate pipe fitting take-outs on piping measurements

Weld pipe diameters ranging from 1/2 to 36 in all position

Operate a high frequency amperage control foot pedal while welding

 Weld structural steel in all positions

Other tasks as assigned 

Requirements: 

Minimum of 3 years experience in MIG and carbon welding

Must pass various weld tests

Passing of Background check and drug screen 

Must have hood rod and PPE

Must be able to work in confined spaces
