Job Summary:

The role is responsible for assisting assigned Carrier Sales Representatives with their day-to-day operations, specifically on specialized high-risk commodities. 

This is an on-site position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Hourly rate is $19.24/hr. 

What does a typical day look like?

Organizing and tracking booked loads for carrier reps

Providing timely updates on critical shipments

Communicating late deliveries and issue resolution when necessary

Issuing EFS checks and other customer service-related items

Posting loads to web services and internal platforms when needed

Negotiating rates and booking loads if necessary

Calling carrier partners to help track down POD’s, invoices, and other supporting documents.

Updating files in Highway when needed

What are we seeking?

College degree preferred, but not required.

Logistics experience preferred but not required.

Exposure to carrier sales process

Strong phone and written communication skills

Organized and assertive

Ability to identify and react to potential issues with confidence and composure.

Capacity to multi-task

6+ months experience in customer support/operations
