We currently have an opportunity for a Survey Party Chief in West Palm Beach, FL. Solely responsible for daily field road surveying by making exact and precise measurements, lay out and as builts. Responsible for providing relevant field data to shape, contour, locate, and construct the design. The SPC is responsible for using global positioning systems (GPS) and/or Robotic Total Station to layout and As Built Roadway and Highway construction. Construction Layout Master: Train, mentor and guide the career path of Junior Survey personnel and field construction employee
Responsibilities:
Layout Road construction projects
Assist the field supervision in day-to-day field construction layout
Responsible to maintain multiple jobs with daily workload
Understand and follow the Company Employee Practices
Ensure roadway design layout standards are met
Have and Maintain a clean driving record and valid driving license
Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma and previous Construction Road Survey experience
SPC is Responsible to use and apply best Survey Construction industry practices to lay out road construction projects with common sense.
Knowledge and experience with Trimble/Topcon field equipment and software. Previous experience with SCS900 software, SPS730, SOS930, SPS720, and TSC7.
Minimum of 1 – 5 years field experience with roadway construction and field improvements. Ability to apply good mathematical skills to solve field Survey problems and verify office calculations

Maintaining the work vehicle in a neat and orderly manner
Performing all duties on time as per schedule
Performing other field duties as may be required by Survey Manager
