Job Description:

The Challenge 

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Communications Manager to spearhead our internal communications efforts. This role is crucial in promoting and sustaining the company's internal branding, culture, purpose, and strategic direction. This professional will have the unique opportunity to champion our "" culture and bridge communication between our corporate office and associates across 50+ hotels and resorts.  

The Role 

The Internal Communications Manager will report directly to the Director of Corporate Communications while working closely with the Vice President of People & Culture and the corporate human resources department. This is a pivotal role within the company to ensure all Omni’s communications tie into the company’s mission, vision, core values and key priorities. It involves creating compelling internal communication strategies and plans that engage and motivate our 20,000+ associates.  

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer and a strong cross-collaborator, comfortable working closely with senior corporate executives. They will ensure communications are meaningful, purposeful, and effective, using high-quality content to engage and inspire our leaders and associates.   

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities 

Collaborate with the Director of Corporate Communications (DOC) to create an internal communications strategy and promote our associate “All In” brand and value proposition by aligning and weaving in our culture with all copy, content, and assets. 

Organize, maintain, and update the associate brand presence on , the intranet, and the internal communication SharePoint pages. 

Craft compelling messages through storytelling for internal communication using a variety of communication mediums such as mobile camera and editing tools to create a content plan with clear objectives, consistent cadence, and innovative methods for connecting with associates through Omni Newsletters, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed and others as needed. 

Coordinate with all departments including Human Resources, Sales, IT, Operations, and others on communication projects, ensuring consistency and alignment with core communication plans and corporate messaging using the “All In” voice. 

Identify and utilize the most effective channels for storytelling including online platforms, social media, intranet, email, mobile, video, print, and in-person events. 

Collaborate with HR to assist in managing and supporting local market leadership community efforts and internal and external communication programs to maximize impact, engagement, and visibility. 

Work directly with the All In Ambassadors and their executive leader to develop and execute communication strategies that reflect Omni Hotels & Resorts' commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and safe environment for all associates, in line with our “All In” values and the Ambassador’s Core Anchors. 

Support thought leadership initiatives, content creation, and communications on behalf of Omni executives including the President, CHRO, COO, and others ensuring to speak in their voice. 

Assist in producing, creating agendas and message points for quarterly executive committee calls, dedicated events, town halls, associate rallies, video messages, and other executive communications. 

Partner with the social media manager to leverage Omni Hotels & Resorts LinkedIn page. 

Work with the recruitment director to keep Omni Hotels & Resorts career page up to date, promoting our “All In” culture and associates. 

Support DOC with internal crisis communications support and act as the liaison with senior leaders.  

Create and monitor internal KPIs (Key performance indicators) benchmark metrics document to measure results. (Glassdoor, LinkedIn engagement, and Omni Newsletter opens and click through rate.) 

Qualifications:

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree and proven track record with 5-7 years' experience in internal communications, corporate communications, public relations, or a similar field is essential. 

Exceptional writer and communicator, with experience in various methodologies including video, digital and print with the ability to authentically convey messages in the voices of multiple executives and the Omni “All In” internal brand. 

Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms, including Teams, SharePoint and Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Express, Adobe Premier Rush, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop), Power Point and Canva.  

Excellent verbal communication skills for presentations, meetings, and interpersonal interactions. 

Embody a proactive, passionate, and collaborative mindset with a "Make-it-Happen" attitude. 

Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform well under pressure in an evolving environment. 

Practice active listening and creative thinking. 

High ethical standards, exceptional judgment and discretion, given access to confidential information. 

Preferred Qualifications but Not Required 

Experience using third-party email tools from Staffbase for internal communications. 

Prior hospitality experience. 

Bilingual in Spanish and English.
