Overview:

Brunson provides manufacturing and engineering solutions to measurement problems faced by people who build, inspect or maintain large machines – including aircraft, paper mills, satellites, ships, machine tools, particle accelerators and automobiles.  

This well-established organization is currently seeking a CNC Machinist II who will be responsible for setup and operating one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment for standard and non-standard products.

Responsibilities:

Selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments as necessary.

Operates manual machines as required.

Uses standard inspection tools (ring, plug, micrometers, calipers, bore gages, optical comparator).

Uploads and edits programs as required.

Performs a variety of tasks.

Understands and follows established quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or its equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
