Who You Are:

We are seeking a human Resources Generalist to assist department manager in overseeing team members, maintain procedures to enhance productivity and performance and monitor daily operations, follow disciplinary processes and assist in team member career development at GVS.

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Recruiting and Onboarding:

Assist with sourcing and screening candidates for open positions.

Coordinate and participate in interviews.

Onboard new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive transition into the company.

Benefits and Compensation:Assist with employee benefits administration, including open enrollment and claims processing.

Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records.

Support with compensation updates and performance reviews.

Employee Relations:Provide HR support to employees on various issues, including leaves of absence, performance concerns, and policy queries.

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Assist with conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.

Administration and Compliance:

Maintain complete and accurate HR records for all employees.

Stay up to date on relevant employment laws and regulations.

Assist with maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures.

What You Bring:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (preferred).

Passion for building positive relationships and fostering a strong company culture.

Eager to learn and grow within the HR field.
