Responsibilities:

Your Role at Raising Cane’s:

The Restaurant Excellence Specialist provides restaurant support through various channels, including day-to-day informative communications, project assistance, and managing the department’s inbox and communications. This role is primarily responsible for managing internal communications across all areas of the business on behalf of the Restaurant Excellence department. Additionally, the Restaurant Excellence Specialist plays a key role in delivering assistance, answers, and exceptional customer service to restaurant operators and the RSO.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

• Manages and organizes the department’s inbox by responding to and sorting all incoming emails

• Responds to emails professionally, utilizing proper grammar and clear, effective communication

• Operates with sense of urgency by responding promptly and communicating effectively within tight timelines

• Effectively prioritizes communication and support to operators and RSO based on key business priorities

• Collaborates effectively with various RSO departments to find answers and provide leadership with informed options for decision making

• Builds relationships, trust, and confidence with the crew and RSO departments by maintaining high credibility, demonstrating integrity, and handling information with care

• Maintains operational competency by staying engaged with the day-to-day work experiences of the restaurant crew

• Channels feedback to the Restaurant Excellence team to address recurring themes or issues faced by restaurant operators

Qualifications:

Requirements for Success:

• 2+ years restaurant industry experience

• For internal promotion: Minimum of 12 months as a Restaurant Manager or higher, in good standing with the company, and a proven track record of meeting performance standards

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing

• Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, and analytical skills

• Self-aware with the ability to exercise good judgement and maintain strict confidentiality when handling highly sensitive information

• Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
