Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces to apply paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture.
Apply to repair, replace, and spackle/sand sheetrock as needed.
Apply Wall Covering i.e wall paper
Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats.
Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post appropriate paint signs.
Skillfully apply caulking and grouting as needed.
Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas.
Maintain work areas neat, organized and safe
Effectively operate resort operations devices & software (HotSOS).
Follow company procedures and policies.
Performs other related job related duties as assigned.
Provide effective repairs and first-time resolution of all guestrooms.
Resolve customer issues within given guidelines and to customer satisfaction.
Protect the guestroom floors, counters, and appliances while working.
Follow safety guidelines/practices
Recognize and identify potential hazards in the property.
Communicate and interpret department needs as it relates to job role by positively interacting towards resolutions.
Be able to work independently and with minimal to no supervision or support.
Able to work in a cohesive environment with all department
Hourly pay range: $30.59 - $40.79
Qualifications:
Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
