Overview:

Autism Spectrum Therapies ("AST"), one of the largest and most respected autism services organizations in the county, is looking for an exceptional master’s-level ABA professional to join our team as a Managing Technician! This position is ideal for an experienced candidate ready to build their assessment skills while working toward becoming a BCBA.

For over 20 years, Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST) has provided evidence-based, contemporary ABA therapy to help children, teens, and adults with autism find success. Our goal is to empower our clients to build the skills needed to live a happy and fulfilling life. As a Managing Technician at AST, you’ll not only have access to experienced local clinical leadership and support, but you’ll also be part of LEARN Behavioral—a collective group of ABA providers delivering collaborative care to communities from coast-to-coast. LEARN employs over 500 BCBAs and offers services in 18 states, and our average clinical leader has been with the organization for 10 years.

Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of a BCBA

Accrue all indirect supervision hours towards becoming a BCBA

Oversee a team of approximately 5 interventionists and average 10 - 15 clients

Develop client goals and clinical programs

Support parent training and education

Write progress reports and conduct regular team meetings

Qualifications:

Master’s degree

Minimum one year experience working with children with autism

BCBA eligible or accruing hours towards certification

Extensive prior experience with applied behavioral analysis

Demonstrated fluency with all aspects of the Behavior Interventionist position

Demonstrated ability to train others

Strong communication and writing skills

BCaBA preferred, not required

Bilingual skills highly preferred, not required
