Overview:

Under direct supervision, using standard processes and continuous improvements, the Mold Machine Operator operates all

injection molding machines producing rubber gaskets to be used in joining systems in a timely and efficient manner that meet

the quality standards to ensure the delivery of world-class products to Tyler Coupling customers

Responsibilities:

· Operates all injection molding machines to produce rubber gaskets, both the Desma and Maplan machines.

· Responsible for maintaining a constant watch on machine operations to ensure quality of product. Notifies lead person

or Supervisor of any possible machine malfunctions.

· May operate multiple machines at one time.

· Trains other operators as required.

· Dumps scrap container during shift.

· Cleans equipment at the close of each shift.

· Keeps work area safe, clean and orderly at all times.

· Performs other miscellaneous duties as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to sit/stand for periods of up to 8 hours.

2. Repetitive grasping and gripping with hands.

3. Regularly required to bend, lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

4. Plant Environment.

5. Exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals.

6. Preferred grammar school education and 6 months of related manufacturing experience.

7. Preferred a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
