Responsibilities:

The Surgical Technician performs selected procedures and related duties under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse personnel in the operating room.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a scrub technician and successful completion of a certified surgical technician course.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Basic Life Support -AHA 

Preferred Requirements:

Certification by the Association of Surgical Technicians - CST Surgical Technologist

2 years acute care experience
