Community programs include a Mobile Wellness Clinic, a tattoo removal program, and support groups for patients and new mothers. In addition, and in accordance with our mission, Dominican Hospital supports programs for the underserved in our community, including children and adults, students, seniors, and the homeless population. Dominican also has received several awards for environmental excellence.

Responsibilities:
Delivers care and performs the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic care that may result from the intrusion of anesthetic agents and techniques for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit. ALL REGISTERED NURSES will render professional nursing care to patients, support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and activeparticipation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The RN shall supportDignity Health/Dominican Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Minumum Required:Six months of Critical Care nursing experience
Current and active CA RN license Current BLS and ACLS Certification Unit specific certifications and qualifications:
PALS Certification required within 6 months of employment
Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred/Desired:
Three (3) years of Critical Care nursing experience
BSN
PACU or Critical Care certification (CPAN or CCRN) preferred
