Responsibilities:

Your Role:

As the Commercial Assistant General Manager, you’ll play a vital role in managing a newly opened 2.9 million square foot Class A office tower. We’re seeking someone with extensive experience in commercial property management, construction oversight, tenant relations, and budgeting. If you’ve successfully managed large-scale commercial properties (over 1 million square feet), this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Management:

Oversee daily operations, implement management policies, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Tenant Relations:

Be the go-to contact for tenants, coordinating improvements, resolving issues, and conducting regular updates.

Budgeting & Financial Management:

Manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and prepare reports for senior management.

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead and mentor a team, ensuring smooth project execution and upholding Related’s standards.

Construction & CAPEX Management:

Oversee construction activities, manage capital expenditure budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time.

Additional Responsibilities:

Deliver top-tier operational management across various disciplines, including accounting, maintenance, and security.

Enhance tenant experience, from move-in to lease fulfillment, with a focus on customer service.

Continuously assess property resources, identify improvement strategies, and mitigate operational risks.

Conduct regular property inspections, manage tenant files, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Lead procurement and contracting, oversee large-scale capital projects, and manage special events.

Manage budgets, analyze financial statements, and maintain strong relationships within the organization.

Compensation:

$120,000 - $130,000/yr + Discretionary Bonus

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).

5-7 years of commercial property management experience, particularly in office spaces.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.

Understanding of building systems and property management issues.

Experience in maximizing financial performance and leading diverse teams.
