Responsibilities:

he 3PL Inventory Control Coordinator support efforts of the Inventory Control department to maintain integrity of customer-owned product.

Fulltime Onsite role based out of our Charlestown, Indiana location; typical hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm ET

Responsibilities

Understanding of forward-positioned stock requirements and parameters.

Understanding of client expectations and importance of inventory accuracy relative to the business.

Plan, direct and/or execute cycle counts or scheduled physical counts. Analyze results, report findings and maintain databases

Investigate discrepancies and report findings and resolution

Perform visual inspections of warehouse and staging locations and recognize potential issues.

Ability to execute reconciliations and report findings – product and/or customer -specific.

Able to process and analyze cycle count results and escalate where appropriate based on tolerances, client expectations, activity and adherence to SOP’s

Maintain Inventory Record Accuracy data and reports.

Proficiency with Promail processes and functions – Inventory adjustments, transfers, pulls, and ability to use Promail to document transaction histories

Effective and discreet (written and oral) communication with multiple departments.

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training:  High School Diploma

Business Experience: One year of experience in Inventory Control, preferably in a Distribution environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Quality Assurance Associate, maintains quality standards by performing routine incoming, in process and finished product inspections; approving incoming materials, in-process, and finished products; recording quality results. Enforces compliance with Knipper Quality Policy, SOP’s, cGMP, Operations Work Order Instructions, and all safety measures.

Full Time 100% On-site Role, Based out of Charlestown, Indiana

Must be available to work the hours of 8:00am- 4:30pm ET Monday-Friday.

Previous quality assurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs incoming material and product inspections (including returned product as necessary) in accordance with documented procedures and sampling plans.

Performs line clearance activities in accordance with documented procedures, including assuring that appropriate materials/products are present for a job, paperwork is reviewed and understood, line set-up complies with cGMP and company SOPs; performs first piece inspection for conformance to written specifications (Operations Work Instruction) and sample; documents the results of line clearance  inspections performed.

Performs random and scheduled inspections of print, assembly and kitting activities in accordance with documented procedures; documents the results of such line inspections when performed.

Documents all inspection results by completing reports and logs; verifying same is completed by assembly personnel as required; escalates nonconformance found during incoming inspections accordingly.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

Education/Training:  High School Education or general education degree minimum. 

Preferred:  Three months prior QA experience; experience in a regulated industry.

Basic computer knowledge to include: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

Ability to use a calculator to perform basic math functions and understands the concept of same including: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; compute ratio, rate and percent.

Ability to carefully monitor activities using as appropriate, instruments, gauges, and processes.

Preferred: Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The associate is responsible for working on their feet, using an RF gun to locate and pick product to a pallet, or to an overpack case. Responsible for building pallets, breaking down pallets as needed, moving inventory from drop zones using a walkie-rider or pallet jack and de-staging product into Pick Mod. 

SHIFTS: 8:00 AM -  4:30 PM

Responsibilities

As directed by the WMS, users will be expected to follow the system direction to complete daily activities. Activities are done by utilizing the WMS through either radio frequency (RF) equipment, pick to light technologies, or computer-based workstations.

Can be expected to work within various areas of distribution such as: Receiving, Case Pick Modules, Shipping, Returns, DEA, Freezer, Refrigerated space.

Pick case quantities and build pallets for extended period.

Pick replenishments in the Refrigerator and Freezer.

Retrieve replenishments from drop zones and deliver to pick modules using a pallet jack.

Operate a powered stretch-wrap machine.

Build pallets and break pallets down as needed.

Verify inventory levels in locations by performing cycle count process in WMS.

Assorted WMS tasks such as receiving incoming materials, counting, sorting, verification of item numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, counting, data entering, and other visual verifications will be conducted frequently.

Ability to use a pallet jack, may be trained to use a walkie-rider.

Always maintains good general housekeeping practices in accordance with standard operating procedures. Reports any housekeeping issues to the supervisor.

Participate in user training that is led by qualified staff members that will include but is not limited to: hands on the job training, material handling safe practices, Warehouse Management System (WMS) navigation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) training.

Expected to assist with the training of new employees.

Perform other assigned tasks as directed by management.

Maintains a safe work environment at all times. Reports any unsafe issues to the supervisor.
