Summary: 

As the Manager, Clinical Engineering, you will lead a team of Clinical Engineers to invent, design, develop and market POCUS solutions. Your extensive clinical expertise will be used to optimize imaging, coordinate and conduct clinical product evaluations, oversee the creation of plans and protocols, research and present new POCUS clinical innovations, and provide clinical insight and support to R&D. 

Essential Job Functions:

Successfully plan & execute multiple projects, review complex requirements, and take a lead clinical role utilizing clinical standard operating procedures and processes.   

Collaborate with other disciplines (Product Management, Engineering, Regulatory, Marketing and Sales) to help expand our business. (add line regarding launch preparation, training, marketing images, etc…) 

Use your industry and clinical experience to lead the design of state-of-the-art technologies for POCUS. 

Ensure new system features and transducers are diagnostic, meet the needs of our customers, and meet regulatory compliance. 

As a leader you will build and nurture your team, ensuring all are contributing effectively, meeting deadlines, and growing in their capabilities. 

Develop strong relationships with clinicians and internal and external stakeholders to define and evaluate new innovative product concepts to address unmet customer and business needs. 

Participate with the Development Team in the evaluation of Safety Risk according to standard practice and industry guidelines for the system (ISO14971) and software applications (IEC 62304). 

Work with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to support regulatory activities specifically related to the introduction of new products (i.e., country registrations, submission and follow-up of 510k), as well as responding to internal and external audits (i.e., FDA, ISO, other regulatory bodies). 

Knowledge and Experience:

5-10 years’ experience in medical ultrasound imaging with a Bachelor’s of Science in Ultrasound or equivalent. 

2+ ARDMS registries required (RDCS, RDMS, or RVT) 

Strong understanding of Regulatory processes and the ability to follow internal SOP’s for all projects. 

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (advanced Microsoft Office skills are a plus)

Skills/Abilities:

Desire to lead and train others. 

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in meeting multiple deadlines and timelines.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Effective planning and demonstrated time management skills. 

Ability to work effectively with a variety of groups such as Product Management, Ultrasound Engineering, Marketing, and end users (customers).

Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.

Salary and Benefits:
