Overview:

​ The Automotive Service Dispatcher plans, organizes, leads, and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to customers. We deliver the highest quality service while maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years Automotive Shop Experience, dispatcher dealer-level or large facility experience.  An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record.  He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.

Responsibilities:

Implements and maintains an effective dispatch system.

Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required.

Prepare service invoices and timecards for processing.

Reviews repair orders turned in by Service Technicians to ensure accuracy of work completed.

Ensures that technicians follow warranty procedures.

Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.

Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed.

Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

2 years' Automotive Shop experience!!

Ability to distribute work to Service Technician in a fair manner according to their skill level.

Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.

Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.

Safety and customer service oriented.

Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Professional appearance and work ethic.

Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
