Overview:

Our Northwest Permanente Business System Analyst II in support of our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team leads and manages large and complex human resources system projects to ensure that information applications are implemented, upgraded, and meet business requirements.

This is a hybrid position that is a blend of working both remotely and in office. Must reside in the Northwest Service Region (Oregon or Washington).

Primary Responsibilities:

Apply HR business area expertise to define and frame complex, multi-dimensional projects, developing the goals, direction, methodology, work plan and schedule.

Establish contracts and workplan with business clients to delineate the scope and achieve the desired outcomes of the project. 

Develop HR applications that combine data from existing sources, tailored to specific user groups and business needs. Ensure integration with other business applications, and consistency with established data/information standards.

Serves as HRIS system and reporting content expert.  Responsible for assessing new HR reporting needs to ensure non-redundant, reliable, and accurate information is provided. Ensure that report maintenance and updating of programs used to produce reports in support of activities impacting key initiatives is developed.

Manage the development of user documentation and training materials. Develop content, and in some cases provide training for HR business applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Five (5) years of HR reporting or analytical experience.  Healthcare experience preferred.

System administration proficiency including design in UKG.  UKG experience required.

Strong proficiency in Cognos BI complex report writing.

Demonstrated experience in process engineering.

Expert knowledge of relevant HR service delivery.

Ability to design and deliver formal training programs to application users.

Proficient computer skills of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Proven ability to conduct, interpret and present quantitative/qualitative analysis.
