Overview:

We are looking for a Learning and Instructional Design Professional to join our team. This position will directly report to the Senior Director of Talent Management and is responsible for using excellent collaboration and consulting skills to analyze learning needs, write performance-based objectives, and select appropriate instructional techniques to develop a set of solutions.

Requires a skilled professional with instructional design, development, and facilitation experience.

Must be able to create usable content for blended learning approaches, instructor-led in-person experiences and virtual classrooms, self-paced eLearning, and mobile solutions as well as on-demand resources using a variety of development tools.

Trains, coaches, and mentors facilitators in our Leader Led Learning Program to enhance their delivery skills, ensure consistency across programs, and support their professional development

Create high quality solutions that are creative, engaging, instructionally sound, complete, and accurately convey learning concepts in a technologically forward approach

Consults with stakeholders and team members by conducting needs analysis and developing learning solutions which align with Company strategies, often in partnership with learning vendors

About You:

Able to use data analytics to track and examine training programs and the effectiveness of programs

Strong instructional design and development

Strong facilitation skills including virtual-live programming

Must exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments

Able to work with leaders at all levels and spanning the clinical interdisciplinary team

Strong critical thinking skills

Confident to work independently and within a small team with work that can sometimes be ambiguous

Excellent communication skills with ability to build and cultivate relationships

Very comfortable working with multiple online and computer applications

Experience with video production, audio recordings, and content curation skills desired

Proficient project management skills preferred

Bachelor's degree in instructional design or related field or the equivalent work experience

3-4 years in the learning and development field developing classroom-based and virtual learning

1-2 years facilitating classroom-based and virtual courses

Knowledge of a variety of eLearning standards and Adult Learning Theory

Proficient in common instructional authoring technologies including Articulate, Camtasia, or Audition

Previous Hospice experience desired
