Compensation / Benefits
$27.84-$45.46/hr. depending on previous work experience.
Evening differential $2.50/hr.
Night differential $3.00/hr.
Weekend differential $3.00/hr.

Norman Regional Surgical Services consists of 24 operating rooms, with state of the art technology. We offer services ranging from cardiac, urology, general, neuro, GYN, orthopedics, ENT and vascular access. Our scrub techs demonstrate teamwork, ensuring the sterile environment is maintained, and keeping a safe environment for our patients. We orient new scrub techs to all of our surgical areas by providing an extensive orientation with a dedicated preceptor in which scrub techs become proficient in all of our service lines. Responsibilities:
RN essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data, establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care, delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventions, and performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.
Plans, prepares, and provides individualized peri-operative care utilizing the nursing process.
Directs surgery department staff in the care of the surgical patient.
Cares for all ages of patients; infant to geriatric.
Qualifications:
Education
Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Experience
Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).
Other Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
New grads are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
Licensure / Certification
Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
