ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Pizza Line Cook (Seasonal) is responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to order, ensuring high-quality and consistent results. This role involves managing ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in the workspace. The ideal candidate should have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, possess strong attention to detail, and be able to work efficiently as part of a team to deliver delicious pizzas to customers. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Completing all tasks assigned by Kitchen Supervisors

Working various stations with an emphasis on pizza and table service food

Producing consistent, high-quality food in a timely manner

Using commercial kitchen equipment to prep food items

Ensure that each station is stocked with the necessary equipment

Working quickly and efficiently to maximize production

Checking food quality at all points of preparation, transportation and delivery on-site

Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen space as required

Ensure sanitary regulations are followed at all times

This is a seasonal role from April 2024 through early November 2024

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have NYC Food Protection Certificate.

Cooking experience required, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook

Pizza making experience is encouraged

Familiar with industry’s best practices

Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time

Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work on your feet as well as stationary for at least 12 hours during events.

Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts.

Must be able to move, pull, carry of lift at least 50 pounds

COMPENSATION

Hourly range for this role is $20-25.
