Mobile Smart Repair Technician
Location: Birmingham
Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday
Salary: OTE of £35,000-£40,000 p/a
Contract Type: Permanent
Igloo is looking for experienced Smart Repair Technicians to join our client’s team in Birmingham on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will be working on the behalf of an established business who boast the largest network of accredited Smart Repair Technicians in the country.
The Role:
As a Smart Repair Technician, you will carry out repairs on a mobile basis, ensuring that a high-quality service is provided for the customer every time, successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below tasks:
* Deliver a high standard of customer service to all customers.
* Explain process of the repair to customer before you begin.
* Always follow health and safety measures.
* Take card payments.
* Advise and provide aftercare/ insurance material.
* Alloy wheel refurbishment.
* Diamond cut and shadow chrome repairs.
* Bumper corner repairs.
* Wing mirror repairs.
* Painted trim repairs.
* Panel repairs – no more than two panels on one side.
* Touch in chips on bonnet.
* Door handle repairs.
* Report to Technical Operations Manager.
There will be 2 weeks of paid training in Rugby, Warwickshire, accommodation will be provided.
What kind of person are we looking for?
* The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and previous experience of working within a smart repair role.
* Demonstrate a good and sound understanding of all Smart repair processes.
* Will need to be hard working and reliable.
* Have the attitude of producing high quality finishes, first time, every time.
* Be able to work well under own esteem as well as part of the team.
* Hold a category B driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
* ATA or IMI accredited is desirable but by no means essential.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Organised with an attention to detail
