Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the maintenance team to foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment uptime and reliability.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct regular audits to mitigate risks.

Oversee the maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems, ensuring efficiency and adherence to industry standards.

Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and control costs.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and reduce costs.

Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Engage with the workforce to foster open communication and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, particularly in a food manufacturing or similar industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is preferred.

Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, including equipment troubleshooting and repair.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to food safety and manufacturing standards.

Strong communication skills in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and project management skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive organizational culture change.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in dairy manufacturing or a similar food production environment.

Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.

Experience with World-Class Manufacturing principles.

Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.

Experience in preparing and managing budgets for maintenance operations.
