Job Overview: In this role, you'll apply your engineering skills and knowledge to enhance manufacturing operations. From conducting feasibility studies and manpower estimates to recommending design improvements, you will work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The position emphasizes problem-solving, continuous improvement, and effective communication with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply engineering theories and concepts to meet business objectives.

Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and develop engineering criteria for projects.

Perform design analysis and present options for structures, systems, and components.

Lead and participate in team-based projects, ensuring timely results and outcomes.

Identify opportunities for process and product improvements using Lean principles.

Independently develop engineering approaches and solutions to complex problems.

Work with supply chain teams to analyze cost and value stream capabilities.

Provide tooling specifications for both manual and automated metal processing.

Manage project proposals and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Present engineering solutions clearly to team members and management.

Recommended Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on problem-solving abilities.

Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.

Familiarity with metal processing techniques and tooling specifications.

Knowledgeable in blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams across various departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing engineering projects, including budget proposals and execution.

Proficiency in both manual and automated metal forming processes.

Demonstrated ability to pivot in response to changes in project requirements or business needs.

Familiarity with supply chain cost analysis and economic principles related to manufacturing.
