As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures that support our data-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and implement data quality and validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Leverage AI and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from data and develop predictive models.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and data management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
Expertise in data transformation and ETL/ELT processes using tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-based data services.
Experience with data warehousing and data lake concepts.
Knowledge of AI and machine learning algorithms and frameworks is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
