Delivery Helper
Accountabilities
Prepare material for distribution and other entities
Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications.
Perform preventative maintenance checks daily, weekly, and monthly.
Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed
Meeting delivery deadline
Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
Open bales, crates and other containers.
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
Requirements / Qualifications:
Education: None
Experience: None Required
License or Certification: Valid Driver's License in the state of Texas Required
Must be 21 Years of age
Be able to lift 30-75 lbs.
Perform repetitive tasks
Long periods of standing/sitting at a time
Works with urgency and purpose to deliver quality products.
Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment; is comfortable with ambiguity and change.
Seeks and responds well to feedback, which is shared often and freely across all levels of the organization.
Works through silos and forges strong cross-departmental relationships in order to achieve outcomes.
