Platinum Global Talent Solutions is delighted to be recruiting for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant to oversee a major water and wastewater treatment plant project in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is an exciting opportunity for a professional to join an ENR Top 10 Domestic Heavy Contractor where your extensive experience in managing intricate projects while ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational standards will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all project aspects, including construction, budget, and cash management, ensuring compliance with contracts and client requirements.

Develop and manage project schedules, cost estimates, procedures, and resource allocation to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Create and manage the project organizational structure and staffing plans for each phase to meet deadlines.

Provide technical expertise during project proposals, participate in bid interviews, and handle contract assessments and client negotiations.

Engage with all project stakeholders, including partners, landowners, and regulatory bodies, and coordinate with the construction management team to identify risks and negotiate change orders.

Present monthly project reports to executive leadership and ensure compliance with safety programs and procedures.

Lead project closeout activities, including finalizing contracts, resolving claims, and obtaining retainages, while maintaining alignment with the company's values and strategic goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field is advantageous.

15 years experience in construction project management.

10+ years of experience in managing teams and personnel.

Over 10 years experience with water and wastewater treatment plant construction preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in various project delivery methods including bid-build, CMGC, and design-build.

Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership attributes and the ability to manage multiple departments, while effectively mentoring a team and delegating tasks.

Proven expertise in identifying and managing project risks, financial acumen, negotiating agreements, budgets, and fund recovery, and promoting both personal and company.
