Salary: $27.72 - $39.60 per hour, depending on experience

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

Schedule:

Shift: 12-Hour Days and Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Days Per Week: 3

Total Hours Per Week: 36

Shift Start Time: 07:00 AM or 07:00 PM

Shift End Time: 07:00 PM or 07:00 AM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Observation Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an Observation RN, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring exceptional patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, following established nursing models and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation in the patient's medical record.

Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action in the event of unintended reactions.

Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs, and resolving them proactively.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring clear understanding.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience; acute care experience is strongly preferred, though LTAC experience will be considered.

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred; required within 6 months of hire.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5 - 1:6
