Responsibilities:

Systems Engineers will possess the ability to work independently in a small multi-disciplinary team utilizing their experience to conduct testing and evaluation services for a mature hardware in the loop simulation lab.  They will be comfortable creating detailed test plans and analyzing test outcomes to determine systems performance and lab capabilities.  Creation of test and results reports will be required to document project outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Create and implement test plans for component and system level performance evaluations

Analyze test outcomes to determine performance and identify improvements in testing and system capabilities

Provide expertise in systems engineering best practices and simulation testing and evaluation efforts

Knowledgeable in systems engineering, V&V concepts, controls systems, vector calculus, and real-time simulations

Ability to quickly adapt to new testing and simulation requirements and implementation of new capabilities

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD

Background in systems engineering, electrical engineering, or computer engineering with an emphasis on hardware controls, real-time simulations, or system engineering

Experience working with real-time simulations and in hardware centric environments

Ability to create and explain detailed and complex test plans to lab personnel for test execution

Comfortable with vector calculus concepts such as basis vectors, coordinate transforms, and matrices

Knowledgeable in standard laboratory devices such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, and signal I/O devices

Familiar with MATLAB, SIMULINK, C/C++/C#, or Python for test plan development

Proficient in writing technical documentation in MS word and PowerPoint

Ability to be onsite five days a week

Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

US Citizenship

Desired Skills:

Substantial experience in hardware in the loop laboratories overseeing integration, V&V, and evolving lab requirements and capabilities

Expertise with real time simulation environments

Active TS/SCI clearance

Target Salary Range:

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
