Overview:

BerryDunn is seeking a Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our Talent Management Team. This is a temporary position with a 3+ month term.  You will use your skills to provide administrative support to the talent acquisition team, hiring managers and candidates with responsibilities for: candidate communications, interview scheduling, managing pre-employment assessments and background checks, and coordination of internship events.  This position requires an outstanding ability to multi-task, as well as superior organizational skills. This role will be a flexible hybrid schedule from our Portland, ME office or fully remote.

You Will:

Schedule candidate interviews, update interview information in our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS), and prepare interview materials for hiring teams

Assist with pre-employment screenings

Offer letter preparation

Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) to note candidate status and correspondence  

Pre-screen intern candidates using screening tools including resume review and telephone screens

Assist with internship event coordination & job fairs

Manage the job posting process on early career Job Boards

Perform various administrative duties in support of the Talent Acquisition function

You Have:

Strong written and verbal communication skills required; ability to communicate articulately and professionally in person, over the phone and in writing

Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; performing tasks with high degree of accuracy

Adept in using technology, prior experience using an applicant tracking system

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and support multiple team members

A high degree of flexibility in a demanding, fast-paced, and frequently changing environment; demonstrate ability to remain calm under pressure and comfort working with minimal direction

1-2 years of experience working as part of a Talent Acquisition or HR team is preferred

Compensation Details:

The base salary range targeted for this role is $24 - $27 an hour. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
