Overview:

Closet America is seeking a Field Sales Manager to join our growing team in the Landover Area! The Field Sales Manager leads a sales team by providing guidance, training/mentorship, responsible for hitting sales quotas and goals, and building their team. A field sales manager is knowledgeable of the company’s products and promotions and works closely with the customer and sales staff to ensure a smooth sales process.

What We Offer: 

This is a Base + Commission + Bonus position

Compensation: $39k - $150k per year

What You'll Do: 

Ensuring sales teams are meeting planned sales goals/quotas

Daily connection with designers/Sales Representatives

Handle cancellation attempts on sold projects

Coordinating all disciplinary action and performance improvement plans with sales reps

Setting individual sales targets with the sales team

Tracking sales goals and reporting results, as necessary

Overseeing activities and performance of sales team

Conducting ride-along with sales team members.

Developing sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education

Structure and complete workshops for underperforming designers

Promoting the company’s products and services

Develop, present, and negotiate sales contracts

Running Sales appointments

Ensuring designers submit proper paperwork and that jobs are not getting delayed

Promoting the company’s products and services

What You'll Bring:

Commitment to high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions

Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations

Demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment

Strong customer service orientation

A valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record

Knowledge of principles and practices of sales

Proven ability to achieve sales targets
