Schedule: Wednesdays-Saturdays, 12-10pm

What You'll Do
As a Life Coach at Embark Behavioral Health Klamath Falls, you'll create a nurturing and secure environment for our clients. Using our proven therapeutic approach, you'll guide young adults in developing essential coping skills and enhancing their daily living abilities. You’ll be a comforting, attentive, and supportive presence available to clients offering solace and guidance for issues ranging from homesickness to difficult emotions.
Who We're Looking For
We seek compassionate individuals who are committed to guiding others toward mental wellness.
Responsibilities:
Ensure Client and Campus Safety: Provide consistent supervision, attend to campus security, and offer support during crises.
Healthy Relationships: Establish rapport and provide support to all cleints, participate in daily activities with clients such as arts/crafts, sports, meals and off campus outings.
Documentation: Complete accurate, timely and objective daily documentation requirements
Align with Treatment Team: Follow treatment plans and protocols, communicate and work collaboratively with team members, and contribute to client progress.
Grow with the Residential Team: Embrace a growth mindset, participate in specialized trainings, and engage in ongoing professional development through Embark's mastery program
Other duties as assigned: Including but not limited to meal prep, cleaning, etc.
Qualifications:
21+ years of age
High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D (associates or bachelor's in related field a plus)
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
CPR and First Aid certification
Oregon Food Handlers card
Ability to apply training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention
Preferred: One year experience working with young adult populations
