Mt. Spokane Veterinary Hospital has an opening for a Licensed Technician to add to our awesome team. Tired of only hearing about life outside of work but never seeing it for yourself? This is a full-time position, with a 4-day work week and rotating Saturdays. Our veterinary assistants are an important part of our pet care team and help provide excellent care to our patients as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients. This position is a great training opportunity for someone who wants to become a Veterinary Technician. We prefer candidates with veterinary practice experience including:

Greeting patients/clients & listening to our clients as they explain why their dog/cat/bird/rat/goat/chicken is the best one that has ever lived.

Lab work
Monitoring of patients
Pharmacy duties
Handling medical records
Be positive! Because with the right cattitude, anything is pawsible
Share your knowledge, skills, and experiences with others (spidey powers would be cool too)
Possess the confidence to own tasks and responsibilities to deliver positive outcomes.
Anticipate the needs of DVM staff, promoting efficiency and teamwork.
