We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.
Position Summary: The Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. They maintain and reconcile the AP and AR ledgers to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipts. They provide day to day management of the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams – motivating and leading the team.
Essential Duties:
Define, develop and implement collections and accounts receivable policies and procedures
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customer sales, as well as processing and payment of vendor invoices
Monitor account status and follow up on delinquent payments
Oversee forecasting, reporting, expense tracking and budget contributions
Implement standard operating procedures to maintain accurate financial records and control reports
Monitor collection period and send follow-up inquiries regarding payments
Negotiate with past-due accounts to resolve payment issues in a timely manner
Prepare and evaluate accounting reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements
Manage a team within the working group
Additional projects and/or ad hoc analysis as requested
Support of the monthly financial close process
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Education
Basic/Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Essential Qualifications
Advanced literacy with Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets and database functions
Minimum of 6+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Knowledge of SAP (S/4), Oracle, or another fully integrated ERP systems
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including Excel and financial software
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Strong customer service skills including excellent verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
Capable of handling confidential information in a responsible manner
Flexibility and Multi-tasking capabilities
Highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task
Ability to collaborate and form teams
Ability to work with domestic and international teams
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
