Your Impact at SAM:
SAM is looking for an experienced and driven Survey Crew Chief, or Instrument Opeartor ready to advace their career, to work on a high-profile project located on the eastern shores of Virginia. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage daily survey operations, including traveling by ferry and performing surveys from a barge. This project may require up to 6 days of work per week, providing hands-on experience and serving as a strong foundation for long-term career advancement at SAM.

What You Bring to SAM:
Proven experience as a Survey Crew Chief or similar role
Competent operating total stations, GNSS receivers, data collectors, and tablet PCs
Experience with Trimble equipment is preferred
Strong communication skills (listening, writing and verbal)
Proven work history, strong work ethic, and team-player attitude
Ability to travel for extended periods of time
Ability to work in all-weather climates
Ability to walk long distances through a variety of terrains and carry up to 80lbs
Must have a valid driver's license
