Overview:

Are you ready to embark on a fulfilling leadership journey? Our Sonoma Community -Based services Program is seeking for our new Probation Short Term Services Program Supervisor. Be the one who will spearhead a dedicated team, ensure adherence to program standards, and champion culturally responsive service provision to make a lasting impact on clients and families within the Intensive Diversion Service (IDS) and Intensive Case Management (ICM) programs.

As a Program Supervisor, you will oversee the Intensive Diversion Service (IDS) and Intensive Case Management (ICM) programs, supporting youth and families to reduce legal issues and aid re-entry from out-of-home placements. This role includes managing and supervising a team of bilingual/bicultural staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery, tracking documentation, and providing direct support. The Program Supervisor is also responsible for staff training, onboarding, and program coverage, and is a key member of the regional leadership team. Occasional travel and in-office meetings are required.

ABOUT PROGRAM 

The Probation Short Term Services Program combines the Intensive Diversion Service (IDS) and Intensive Case Management (ICM) services programs. IDS aids youth and families with police contact to prevent further legal issues, while ICM supports youth on probation re-entering the community.  Both programs, lasting 3-6 months, provide skills coaching, resource linkage, and safety planning.

Responsibilities:

Perform the following personnel functions: interviewing, hiring, supervision, training, and evaluation

Learn, know and be able to train/coach their program’s model and hold their supervisees to the model

Create and maintain supervisees’ schedules for providing direct care/support for children and families

Support the team with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion issues that impact their supervisees’ own professional development and those of the families receiving services

Ensure that all supervisees are submitting accurate and timely paperwork related to the services being provided to children and families and relevant to their role

Provide initial and ongoing training, coaching, and support to all supervisees regarding all areas of their job and responsibilities

Facilitate team meetings for all members of that supervisor’s team

Work with the Management Team to coordinate ongoing staff trainings

Maintain flexible schedule with ability to work evenings as needed

Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's crisis response training. This may include intervening with the clients' behavioral program through physical management of the clients, if applicable. Training in additional crisis intervention modalities may

be required

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related subject area

Or Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of experience providing direct services to clients may be considered

in lieu of a master’s degree.

Willing to respond to crisis situations (as needed) and be part of a rotating emergency on-call

system.

TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification

requirements

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’

insurance policy

Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination 

PREFERRED

Experience working with children in out-of-home care

Experience implementing family-focused services

SKILLS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE

Excellent organizational and writing skills

Schedule:

Full-time

Monday- Friday 9am-5pm with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed

Willing to respond to crisis situations (as needed) and be part of a rotating emergency on-call

system.

Benefits:

Starting at $78,536 to $92,536 per year. Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role

Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam

Salary increases each year
